   MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

It is with Deepest Sympathy and Regret that Whitby Amateur Radio Club,
wishes to inform our fellow club members and the amateur radio community
of the sad passing of Lloyd Simcock, VE3ZLN, on February 21, 2008.
Lloyd was our Sr. Communications Director.
Lloyd's friendly and positive attitude, made you feel welcome on the
air. His welcome was always the same, as he had the ability to make you
enjoy your QSO with him. Whether you were checking into our weekly nets
or just calling for a chat. He was a great ambassador for our club and
had been the net controller for many years.  We will greatly miss him
and at this time, I would like to extend our Condolences and Sympathies
to Lloyd's family from The Whitby Amateur Radio Club.

 73 Lloyd.

 MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

On Friday March 28, 2008, our fellow ham and friend VE3GG, Bob Schindler passed away.
Bob was a ham for many years and assisted many people in obtaining their license.
Bob had just recently joined our club and had attended some of our Saturday coffee breaks.
He always had a smile and was willing to share a chuckle with us.
Bob was going to be our band manager for 10 meters on Field Day, I know he was looking for to Field Day
 and he will be missed.

 73  Bob.

 Eric, VA3EAM
